At Eastern Elevator, we can custom build both passenger and freight cabs to your specifications with a variety of standard or custom features. From wood or steel finishes to LED lighting and glass doors, you’ll have many options to build the elevator you’ve always wanted.
Our freight and service cabs are factory-assembled to guarantee all bolts and components fit. Standard walls and ceilings use 14-gauge panels, but we can customize any application up to 1/4 inch plate. Freight cabs are constructed quickly and easily, with the standard industrial gray color. Additional colors are also available.
Once you have chosen a design that you like, contact us for a cab rendering to see if you will enjoy the look of the cab interior. We’re on hand during every step of the installation process, from initial consultation to opening for daily operations.
At Eastern Elevator, we believe the building owner should own the elevator, which is why we install and service non-proprietary elevator equipment.
Non-proprietary means that the elevator system can be serviced by any licensed technician or elevator company, without the need for manufacturer-specific equipment or software. Any and all required programming tools and their instructions are supplied directly to the building owner, making the building owner – not the manufacturer – the owner of the elevator system.
Additionally, any qualified elevator contractor will have access to parts and components from many different sources, including manufacturer-specific products. This makes standard and custom maintenance and required servicing a much more thorough process.
