- This service plan includes regular systematic examinations, cleaning, lubricating and performing minor adjustments as required of minor components on a scheduled basis.
We will furnish the following supplies as needed and when neccesary: oils, greases, rope preservatives, and cleaning materials.
- This service shall include no emergency service calls on a straight time basis, one man, on job site. Travel time and expenses are not included.
- We do not include cabs and/or their finishes, entrances and/or their finishes, carpeting or tile, car and hoistway lighting, wiring to controller for car lighting and ventilation, telephone(s) and telephone connections, shaftway and shaftway lighting, pit ladders, sump pump, access doors, machine room ventilation and/or heating and main power connections to elevator, power switches, fuses for same, and repairs or replacements due to vandalism abuse. We do not include underground piping, hydraulic cylinders or casing or hydraulic piston. We do not include obsolete parts.
- We shall not be required to make repairs or renewals necessitated by negligence, abuse or misuse of the machinery, equipment, or car, or rendered necessary due to any other cause beyond our control. We shall not be required to make state mandated safety tests, or to install new attachments on the equipment as directed or recommended by insurance companies, or government, state, municipal or other authorities, without compensation for same, unless otherwise noted.
- State laws require a mandatory three year pressure test on hydraulic elevators and a five year full load test of the elevator safeties on traction elevators. We will furnish the necessary tools, calibrating instruments, weights and labor to complete this testing. We will attach proper tags to the elevator crosshead and governor certifying the test and file all necessary forms with the Department of Labor and Industry indicating the status of the testing. This service is provided at an additional cost.
